The wedding was just fantastic! Everything was taken care of and planned out to have make this a night to remember... and we have to say that the evening turned out beautifully. The ceremony and reception took place at the Talon's Grove Golf Course Clubhouse just across Utah Lake in Saratoga Springs. One of our most experienced and most talked about DJ's was in attendance, and he is a true entertainer! They danced the night away after having a greeting and mingling time, and after the shoe game of course! You can see from the pictures that the speakers and lighting were clean and efficient, and that the venue itself had a remarkable setup for wedding receptions. We would highly recommend the venue, and want to congratulate Logan and Michelle on having a remarkable wedding! "Brady and Alan were absolutely great! They knew exactly what we wanted and even provided suggestions for things we hadn't thought of. Our wedding reception was really a blast. We had so many compliments from our guests and many saying it was the best reception they had been to. Alan is great at reading crowds and changing the tempo to get everyone going when needed. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone!" - Logan

This incredible couple ended their night completely drenched after taking a dive in the POOL! If we had to describe the time we spent with this couple and their families, the word we would have to use is: UNIQUE! Never in our entire career doing weddings have we had a wedding party spend the last portion of their night, while completely dressed to the 9's in formal attire, diving into a pool and splashing everyone in attendance! All we can say is if they lost the deposit on their tuxedo rentals, at least they had fun doing it! This wedding was a celebration indeed! You could tell by the mood of the friends and family that this was a fun-loving group of people. The Wedding was outdoors, and you could not have asked for a more beautiful Utah Day in August! The temperature was perfect, the sun was out shining brightly, and there was just the perfect number of clouds floating by in the sky. The wedding happened outside in the backyard of a exquisite estate. The ceremony was perfectly executed and had loads of friends and family ready to witness the beauty of their vows. The party continued on from there as a lovely meal was provided, and we got into some special dances and festivities. We had toasts after some of the fun which included the best speeches we have ever witnessed from the Best Man (the groom's brother). It was followed by a sing-a-long that apparently the duo sing at every wedding they attend, and this was no different. (The Righteous Brothers - "You've Lost That Lovely Feeling") After all was said and done, and after being eyed by every guest for the duration of the entire reception, someone "broke the ice" and jumped into the clear, perfect water of the swimming pool.... Fully Clothed In Tuxes and Dresses! (we have to admit that after putting the music on auto, we obliged in the swimming pool mayhem) It was honestly the magic capstone to a perfect wedding reception and a testament to the incredibly high-energy, fun atmosphere that emanate from Cooper & Kristi. Congratulations to you both, and "Just Keep Swimming!" "We had a blast!!! Thank you so much for providing the entertainment we are so happy we had Brady for our DJ! You are awesome!" - Kristi This is an article for those who have a little bit more originality in you... Here are some songs that will leave your guests with a little bit more fresh air than the standard songs you are used to hearing at a wedding. It is hip, fun and a little bit edgy depending on the songs. You should click the link at the bottom to read the full article and see what songs you could be using at your upcoming reception. With so many different music choices, there’s no reason to go with a by-the-book wedding playlist. Show off your couple personality with songs that reflect your style -- and don’t sound like every other wedding you’ve ever been to. We’ve even done the work for you! Your Wedding Style: Indie Your wedding is as unique as you (hence the funny video montage you both created for your wedding web page). Nate & Laura contacted us early on, and had a very unique style and music selection. We seemed to hit it off right from the start, and we were able to make their wedding one of our favorites we have been a part of. Congratulations to both of them and we wish them the best of luck in their new marriage! This was also our first at The Leonardo Museum in Downtown SLC. The venue liked us a lot and we hope it is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. The setup was great, and the sound was incredible. Rock On! "Brady was extremely professional, but also friendly, funny & approachable. He met with us at our venue several times before our wedding to make sure everything was planned out specifically. He played every artist/song we requested & many that seamlessly fit in with the music we like. He even insisted we give him a do-not-play list beforehand so he wouldn't play anything we don't like. He has a way of mixing the music to really get people dancing! He made it clear that he could be as much or as little of a part of the wedding as we like & we decided on something in between, where he was very helpful in announcing what was coming next & getting people to the right places without being too distracting, even injecting a little humor without making it about himself. Even though we had him locked down for a specific schedule & time, he showed up early at no extra cost when we had a late-in-the-game issue with microphones. I can't recommend Brady highly enough, he's a great guy and a great DJ!" - Nate A special thanks to our photographer for the night, Christine. She did a beautiful job and we really like how the pictures turned out. They did the evening justice. We encourage you that if you are planning an event coming up in the summer to book soon: We Are Getting Lots Of Stuff Going On Soon! If you are leaning towards a summer wedding, here are a few things that we have learned along the way that might make your planning a little easier: Featured on Oprah, and guaranteed to give you some good advice. http://www.summerweddingtips.com/ I had a wonderful opportunity this last weekend to provide music and entertainment for one of my good friends from my neighborhood. Her name is Samantha (Sammy) and she is a wonderful girl. Her and her wonderful husband got married in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple and then had what they thought was going to be a small reception at the Mt. Timpanogas Park up Provo Canyon. They told me in our pre-wedding conference that they invited about 150 people... I swear there was WAY more than that there. It felt like there were that many just on the dance floor! We had a couple of concerns going into the big day: 1. We knew that at LDS weddings, people don't tend to dance, and 2. We worried people would start leaving before the dance started. Knowing this, we decided it would be a good idea to start the dancing and festivities early, about halfway through the event. What a good choice! It was almost as if you could feel the exact moment when people were feeling the urge to say their goodbyes, the music started, the cake was ready to be cut, and we moved right into the first/last dances. People stayed!!! People Danced!!! People loved it!!! Both of the concerns were instantly diffused.
Something is to be said about good planning, good timing and a great DJ to get the flow of the night going! Don't trust that to some family member, friend (unless you know he's a DJ, like me), or some random DJ. Make sure that your event flows smoothly by picking an experienced musician or DJ! Congrats to DJ & Sammy!!! Best of luck to you guys and we loved being there with you on your very special and memorable evening! |
