There are power couples in this world... Tad & Lindsey are at the top of the list. They are absolutely incredible, and we loved being a part of their big day! The energy we had from their friends and family was off the hook. Their ceremony was elegant, their cocktail hour was fun and quirky, their dinner was amazing, and the party that ended the night is one to go down in the record books. They even had a double bouquet toss with gift cards tucked into their bouquets. Tables were knocked over and people went crazy over them. They even had their Yellow Monkey (who has become someone of a mascot for them and their adventures) come and spend the day with them doing all sorts of fun things throughout the evening. It was a night to remember, and we were absolutely delighted to have them ask us to DJ their wedding. Wanted To Give A Shout Out To The Amazing Photographer: Dulce Photography All The Pictures From The Photographer Can Be Found Below
This is hands down one of the best articles I have seen concerning photography and weddings. People spend thousands of dollars to have a professional capture the majestic and magical moments of their wedding, and then their ametuer friends and family mess it up with their camera phones and need to immediately post something to a social network. Photographers are great at what they do. They understand appropriate angles, lighting, equipment, resolution, shutter speed, and hundreds of other intricacies of capturing a beautiful moment with very high end camera equipment. Let your family know that while they are off the hook for taking pictures of your big day. It will take some stress off them, and it will ultimately make your big day even more special. The picture associated with the post shows a family member getting in the way of a great shot. At the minimum, it may be a good idea to have your friends and family keep their devices put away during the ceremony. It looks more respectable, and should make for an enjoyable day! This blog has a lot more information if you're interested! We had a great weekend with this beautiful new family in Salt Lake! The reception and ceremony took place in historic "This Is The Place Monument" at the Heber C. Kimball residence. Attendees came from as far as California to join their union officiated by a commander in Sean's firefighting unit. It was the first ceremony we have been involved in that wasn't a minister or judge performing, and it was definitely a beautiful thing to witness! The firefighting traditions were strong with this family, and it showed through their reception. We had a great evening full of emotions, pictures, dancing, and fun. The couple really loved classic hair band rock, and we had a blast playing throwbacks all night. Thanks for a great evening! Just looking through some of the pictures reminds us how elegant weddings can be. The venue made all the difference in the world, and we made sure to keep things classy and fun as we transitioned into the later hours of the celebration. The highlight of the whole evening was by and far when the Bride and her Maids cleared the dance floor and danced a special number for a VERY surprised Groom! There was one part of this wedding that completely stood out and blew us away: The Ceremony. It was outside on the back patio of the Soldier Hollow Country Club in Midway, Utah, and the view was breathtaking. The Minister that officiated at the ceremony was top notch, and where most people will hurry things along, this Servant of God really took his time. He successfully focused all in attendance in recognizing that this sacred union was special, anointed, and approved in the Eyes of God. You could feel the Love and Spirit of A Holy Union that day, and it is something that renewed our own vows and will stick with us for a while. We also had the opportunity of working with one of Utah's, if not one if the countries most talented and recognized photographers. He has had his work published in many local and national newspapers and magazines, and he was a driving force in making the evening come together beautifully. We use these images with his permission and suggest that anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer to hit him up! Check Out The Blog! www.Wedding.TheKnot.com The picture to your left sums up this incredible couple: Fun, Energetic, & In Love! It was such a pleasure to be a part of Tom & Emily's Ceremony & Reception. Despite inviting only close relatives to their big evening, it had the atmosphere that there were hundreds of people there. You could feel an energy in the air that comes at an outdoor concert or a pool party at a movie starts mansion. The people that joined this fun-loving couple came to celebrate a marriage that had been in the works for some time. All were friends and fun was to be had the entire night. The weather was getting a little cloudy and messy in SLC and things were looking like they were moving Northward... but this couple was having no rain on their wedding day. The evening stayed right at the perfect temperature, the sunset came, and we partied as long as we could blasting loud speakers outside. The lights, the atmosphere, and the friends and family that kept that dance floor packed we know had a lasting impact on Tom & Emily's celebration that night. This was hands down one of the best, most energetic group of partiers we have ever witnessed at a wedding reception, and we felt it an honor to be a part of their big day! It is definitely going down in our memory book. "My wedding was exactly what I had imagined thanks to Brady! The music was perfect for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing!! We had a total of 75 guests and Brady kept everyone dancing the whole night. My friends and family had a great time! I highly recommend him for any occasion!" - Emily All Photos Are Used With Permission of an Incredible Photographer named Alex Adams. We sincerely appreciate the shots he took on that special night.
